Bee Positive : Gallery
Gone but not forgotten
Studio has closed
It has been said that one person's trash is another person's treasure, and that
has never been more true than with the wild, who would have thought of that, where did
it come from, objets d'art of Randy Brown.
Using random materials from trash bins; detritus gifted from recyclables;
broken, hammered, and smashed vintage jewelry; or even the lowliest of trite
materials haphazardly selected from big-box craft stores; Randy passes it all
carefully through the genius of his intense artistic attention with steady
hand and studied eye, fashioning lavish gems of eyepopping jaw dropping
wowness.
He's Alive by:
Randy Brown - Sugar Loaf, New York
Whether mind-stopping dioramas, wall hanging assemblages, or even a tiny
almost creature of a whatchamathingy, each piece of Randy's work is a true one
of a kind treasure.
Please forgive the Sugar Loaf Guild for not being able
to keep up with the output at Bee Positive, we have a prolific creative
genius on our hands, and one whose product is changing by the minute overflowing the walls around him.
Our only recourse is to display a few pieces on this page and
encourage you to get over to Randy's as fast as you can, buy whatever suits
your fancy, and remember that the next time you show up it will all be
different and new again.
Lucky you.
