Diva Dog Pet Boutique and Barkery
Warwick, New York

A STORY IN THREE PARTS

This is the story of how Brat received riches beyond imagining
and immediately gifted them to her friends at the Warwick Humane Society

It happened after Mary Endico screwed up and made money on Facebook
(a profound no, no; decidedly against company policy)

Mary made this painting for Christiane Groth as a gift
(something about help with a copyright issue on Facebook)

Christiane got so excited seeing the actual painting that she sent Mary $300
(except the insufferable enforcer of policy, Bob Fugett, said it had to go to Brat)

Brat added, "I love Diva Dog Boutique, but I can't keep this stuff ... "
(Brat agrees with the no money from Facebook policy)

Bratty Girl knew just where she wanted her bounty to go
(not necessarily her favorite place but an important place nonetheless)

Sugar Loaf business owners might like to take notice of the hours
(how a truly important place does business, a major key to success)

the lady at the Warwick Humane Society was next to tears
(just like everybody who gets close to those animals)

of course people are always welcome to wipe their tears with this
(tears are removed most easily by fulfilling a wish or two)

while back at the Diva Dog Pet Boutique
(who by the way matched the donation with equal gifts dollar for dollar)

there are still lots of things
(not the end by any means)

so even when Brat is promised solo shopping she must still stand in line

not to mention the guard dogs are, well ... not so much

even these guys look tougher
(soft as a pillow though)

while the major interest for the Sugar Loaf Guild are all the handmade items
(handmade by Francesca the owner — truly Guild worthy)

"Look, personally I love to shop here ... but you ... I don't know ..."

You will love to shop here too

success comes from steady hours and treating your customers like you love them
(because you do)

As an aside, Francesca was trained in handcraft at the Historic Ezra Decker Homestead (now sadly demolished) in Sugar Loaf, New York; so while we usually get a big laugh out of Warwick's feeble attempts to be just like Sugar Loaf, in this case they got it right.

Instead of laughing, this time Sugar Loaf truly weeps for the loss of a favorite daughter lost due to gentrification.

The handmade pet items at Diva Dog Pet Boutique are worth more than money, and even so, you never know when the money you do hand them is going to end up at the Warwick Humane Society ... with Brat's special friends!
